Mtn. CAP, Inc. mentors high school students from disadvantaged households and focuses on enabling young adults to become the first in their family to graduate from college.

Throughout the school year, participating youth and their parents are invited to attend a series of workshops that include goal setting, college admissions, study skills, financial aid, and how to chose a college/university. Youth are encouraged to partake in other activities that would further increase their success in becoming college bound students.

In addition, Project Discovery participants are invited to visit various colleges and universities in the area. While visiting these institutions of higher education, the youth enjoy campus tours, meals, and free presentations by the college staff.
